The Lincoln Winebar is located in a historic building on Main Street in Moun Vernon, IA. The space has been home to many businesses over the years but opened as The Lincoln Winebar in 2000. In 2012, local chef Matt Steigerwald purchased the space and had the brilliant idea to bring in the Italian-made, wood-fired oven and started providing delicious Neopolitan-style pizzas to the corridor. In 2016, current owner Jesse Sauerbrie purchased LWB and has continued the tradition of making the best pizza in 99 counties.
At Lincoln Winebar, we strive to use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. In Mount Vernon, we are lucky to be surrounded by many local, organic farmers and our menu is driven by the seasonal produce they bring us. Locally grown oyster mushrooms, beets, carrots, and greens are just some of the many delicious ingredients you will find on our menu.
